Ministry Update: Tjernlund Family Partners with GCA

The team at GCA is excited to welcome a new family, the Tjernlunds: Billy, Erika, and Evaleigh. The Tjernlunds were previously serving in Mexico with a native tribe for seven years. Over the past couple of years the Lord has been guiding them to transition from the warmth of Mexico to the cooler temps of Alaska, due to the needs of the ministries and their particular skill sets. Both Billy and Erika are graduates of Moody Bible Institute. Billy grew up in Chicago and Erika in Mexico with her missionary parents. Billy will be serving as a pilot for GCA. He will be flying for kingslodge.org, missions trips, and kokrinehills.org. Billy also plans to provide biblical teaching at Kings Lodge as the Lord leads. Erika plans to continue working on language training material for the natives in Mexico, caring for their beautiful toddler Evaleigh, and providing a home for the family. Please join us in welcoming the Tjernlund family to Alaska!

Note: From Arizona: Erika/Evaleigh flew commercial to Alaska via Hawaii (visting family); Billy flew his airplane to Alaska; Friend Steve drove their truck/trailer to Alaska.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
