Servant Focus: Michael Nylund

Servant Focus: Michael Nylund
Michael works full time as an aircraft mechanic at AMA, and over the past several years working under Ray Johnson and Mike Sidders, he has accrued over 30 months of aircraft maintenance experience. Previous to that, he had lots of maintenance experience working on vehicles with his father. Michael is an excellent mechanic who strives for impeccable work on every job. One of his favorite maintenance tasks is working on fabric aircraft because it is a lost art in the field of aviation. Michael is testing this winter to become a certified aircraft mechanic (A&P).
Michael also earned his private pilot certificate in the spring of 2016, after completing training with Ray Johnson and flight experience with his father Mike Nylund. Michael likes to fly his parents Mike & Stacy out to the village of Tyonek weekly to study the Bible with believers there.
Michael's Background:
Michael was born in Michigan, and has lived throughout the US with his family who traveled in an RV. In addition to aviation, Michael enjoys hockey, hunting, and building model airplanes.
Michael loves all of God's Scriptures and specifically John 3.
β€œFor God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” John 3:16-21
